eat pray love.

I am SO excited to watch this tonight!!! Max is taking me on a movie date after a long day at work and i haven't been this excited about a film in a long time (i.e. ECLIPSE!)

i'm curious to have Max watch it with me and see why this book impacted my life so.

i mean watching this trailer? my eyes watered up again remembering just how much this book was both a wake-up call, a comfort, HOPE, and a reminder.

it changed my life.

One of my most favorite books ever!!! And I think Ms. Roberts was the perfect fit for the movie. Can't wait to see it either...just hope it lives up to the book

I am so jealous you are seeing this tonight. I watch Julia Roberts on Oprah today and it made me so excited for the movie, I adore her. I would love to fit in another reading of the book before I see the movie but dont think ill have time. Enjoy!

Enjoy your movie night! The hubbs & I plan on seeing this one together, too. He was very coy when he asked if I was going to see it with my girls...all the while I knew he wanted to see it with me ;)

Have a great weekend!

Yayyyy, I wish that I could watch this with someone who it affected their life in a similiar way that it affected mine (ie, YOU). Tomorrow I'm going to see it alone, which I think may be a huge mistake - I'll probably start crying and not be able to stop. Guess it's good that I'm used to being alone? You should e-mail me with your review of the movie and when I watch it we can discuss! Yes!

I love this book. I'm a little scared to see the movie (as I always am with great-books-turned-movies), but I'm sure I'll see it anyway :)

I can completely relate to a book changing your life, though. While it wasn't this one for me, my OH WOW book was Erica Jong's Fear of Flying. If you liked Eat Pray Love, you'll like that too :)

Yay! So glad you get to see it tonight! I'm afraid my weekend is looking busy as ever and I don't think I'll be able to squeeze it in . . . but I'm really looking forward to when I finally can. In the meantime, I'll look forward to hearing all about it from my Micaela. :)

I'm also pretty envious of Elizabeth Gilbert for writing a book that changed your, and so many others', life! That's a pretty amazing thing.

love you.

so happy that you'll be getting to see the film version of the book that changed your life, tonight, opening night. really, so, so happy for you because i know what the book and story and sentiments and moments and loveliness that lies within it means to you and how much it impacted you. there's no doubt in my mind that you'll love it and i cannot, cannot wait to hear your thoughts on the whole thing, next phone date.

you're amazing, love you.

I hope you like it! I watched it today and enjoyed it. Of course it's not the book (no movie could ever carry that weight and depth), but I loved seeing it transform on screen. This book impacted my life in a very powerful way as well. Not so much in the romance dept, but in the self-worth and soul-searching dept. Can't wait to hear what you think! xoxo

I am SO looking forward to this movie as well! I will probably see it this weekend. :)

It was such an amazing book, so I'm eager to see it in the big screen. I'm really glad James Franco is in it. He's yummy. Hehe.

Cute blog!
