HAPPY FRIDAY!!! it's my birthday weekend!

This is darling friend's birthday gift for me:

He got us seats in sec 108

He booked us a room at the Hyatt (I know right?!), because we've already stayed at the Crowne Plaza and the FABULOUS W. I'm a pretty spoiled, spoiled, spoiled girl!!! He didn't even stop there...

He booked us a loooovely massage at BLISS spa at the W and since I LOOOVED mine last time, he got me the "blissage 75" package and with the same masseuse! It's their signature 75-minute head-to-toe massage. Le sigh. My masseuse was super sweet. Her name was Phylis, Phylis from Florida. :) She told me Max was a keeper ;)

"On the road to butter" it promises!!! I can't wait to find out!

my bff Maria is going to be in Dallas also visiting her bf [who will have friends over from Austin] so we're planning to meet up.

Depending on my hangover status/time, I really would LOVE to see the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art.

so HAPPY FRIDAY lovies!!! have a WONDERFUL night where you feel just as loved as I did ALL DAY today. :) I promise to take lotsa pics and tomorrow I'll share a special birthday post for my twinkie soul Marianne who's turning 25 with me as well!

THANK YOU DARLING FRIEND for making all this happen!!! I don't even deserve it. For a girl who doesn't want to turn 25, you make it rememberable! I can't wait to cheer on my beloved team with you again, because of you! and to think that when we were on the phone earlier, that you apologised cos you meant to send me flowers at work today. Office Love x2!

Betty works in another office but used to work at the front desk of the Police Department. When i was the weekend reporter at KAUZ, she was SOOO HELPFUL! and seeing her bright and early when i DID NOT want to be at work made my day! She always made sure a Sargent would get back to me on a PD beat. We were both THRILLED when we ran into each other in the restroom at City Hall and figured out we would be working together again :)

This time, with a better schedule (weekends off!!!)
and perhaps, appreciated even more.

She is always so kind to ask me how i am, and after my big heartache... offered her company any time of the day/night if I wanted to talk because she has been there.

Again, she made my day and touched my heart.

The birthday card sings, "You've got a friend in me" when you open it up. Love it!


and the watch! it's gorgeous :) Her co-workers thought it was "so micaela." Just darling!!!!

I walked into work this morning and this sweetness welcomed me:

It was sooo sweet! I got a lovely bottle of wine and a shot glass necklace. LOL Yes, that will be put to good use. It was sooo very sweet!
Everyone else in the building who's walked in to wish me happy birthday, I've asked them what they were doing when they were 25. I'm getting a lot of great stories. :)

Matt [who's the morning/noon meteorologist at the NBC affiliate here] told me they wished me a Happy Birthday on their morning show. :) I told him i felt like a rock star!!!

I feel like a loved girl.

My office is going out to a birthday lunch. I can't wait! is it okay to have already been hungry at 8:30 this morning? lol

We love our Cowboys!!! I do.

I can not tell you how much FUN we had 2 Cowboys seasons ago.
Game day, you'd find us out at the sports bar, sitting on the edge of our seats, and cheering like mad when the Cowboys pulled through! They had some pretty amazing wins at the last few minutes. AMAZING!!!!

We each had a player. I heart Romo but my guy is Marion Barber. He's true talent! C had Romo, Philip (twinkie's husband) had Witten, and twinkie Marianne... she had T.O. I mean look at how cute she is :)

She LOVES Terrell Owens!

We'd take a shot with a Cowboys touch down if "our guy" was the one to make it happen. It was SUCH a fun time. But like all good things... I guess they have to end.

Imagine how crushed we were- AFTER just being elated of a MAVS win over the Spurs AND me excited Kurt Warner signed on again with the Cardinals- when last night on ESPN they announced the Cowboys were releasing T.O.

I know a lot of fans are happy about this, sure. And I'm sure he's going to move on to another team- BUT for me personally, I'm sad for my twinkie. I'm sad that we won't watch another game all excited like we were.
