i watched this movie tonight with my Momma. It was maybe my 3rd time? And i STILL felt the same hope and sadness.

My Momma couldn't believe i would want to watch it again... until not even far into the movie she goes, "I get it... it's all you."

she got it. she got me.

i could relate with jennifer aniston's character Beth.

i could relate with scarlett johanson's character Anna.

i could relate to jennifer connely's character Janine.

except in my life, Beth didn't get a proposal.

and unlike Anna, i didn't leave when i should have.

LIKE Janine, i'm starting over.

the one character i couldn't relate to was the main character Gigi.

i think now... because of being a Beth/Anna/Janine, I'm ready to be like Alex (cute Justin Long). Ready to make a commitment now.

and actually, maybe like Gigi...?

it's one thing to think you LOOK heavier when you look in the mirror... my problem is i'm FEELING heavier. :( where i don't think it's ONLY my consumption of cheese that's causing this, it's a start. As my friend & spin instructor Sarah said when i wrote this on my fb status, "aw man, that's a hard relationship to quit." YES SIR, it is.

if so, i think i may need to get this neat little cheese grater as a congratulatory pressie to myself. Wouldn't it also make the best housewarming gift? fit for your hand and practical storage, not to mention less messy. I dig it.

* i could also use these ceramic mugs, fashioned after the shape of a wine glass. Me and Max have stemless glasses and love them! we may need to include these artsy ones for our coffees...

Friday Night: BRAZOS STONE playing at the Iron Horse Pub
amazing!!! they always are. I had an AMAZING time with you Lauren!!!!!

Saturday Night: Watched my Lebron James lose to Orlando :(
but it wasn't so bad, since I was with my friends! my bff Maria had her bf Joel (2nd pic) had their friend Carlos visiting and after the game, we went to a Country Bar! I really wanted to dance so I was the only one doing the cuban shuffle in my cowboy boots and shorty shorts. Carlos & Joel DID ride the mechanical bull... so we're even.

last night I went to the casino with my Momma, Auntie, and bro-in-law. I'm not a casino goer, but i did win $160 off of $20, so that was enough for me!!! :) on the slots too!!!!

A busy, busy weekend indeed!!!!!
