it's going to be a BEAUTIFUL day!!!

I got to work ON TIME for once- this never happens!

my alarm was still set for yesterday's time (on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month when City Council meets, I have to be at work at 7 a.m. instead of 8) so I peeled myself out of bed, turned on the news- was surprised not to see my Early Show crew and looked at my watch. It was only 6?! SERIOUSLY?!?

Back to bed i went :)

to sleep another hour legitimately.

I even had time to make a banana/organic peanut butter sandwich for breakfast/snack. Can i just say, this is also day THREE i've gone WITHOUT coffee...

Now that, that my lovies is UNHEARD of! :)

but i'm in a good mood today which feels great!!!

and i've been working out- i'm getting my sexy back!

yesterday we worked out for almost an hour. I still have it in me, i can run a mile at 6.0 without stopping (i used to could run 2, without stopping). I'll get back there. :)

so Happy Hump Day everyone!!! The weekend is in sight. The weekend... also my 25th birthday weekend.

ooh okay that could get me back down in a slump...

All right, EVERYONE knows my excitement about U2 being on Letterman all night this week [Nagita, thanks for asking me how it was!!! :) ]

Text from C:

"U2 Way is a new street name in NYC! Mayor unveiled it today! Where the streets have no name?! Really?! Lol!"

Me: "That is SOOO COOL! you thought of me! :)"

Me: "Me and Bono, we're like this. *crossing fingers."

*back story here: When we saw "Across the Universe," it took me a second to see that it was Bono until i heard him. C would NOT let me live that down because he knew RIGHT away. I didn't see the nose!!! I'm sorry Bono! And i always would sing, "Poop-poop-achu" instead of "goo g'joob" [though we heard it as "koo koo kachu!] in "I am the Walrus."

this made my day!!!

darling friend took me out on a movie date friday night.

we have been meaning to see it for weeks now, but something always came up.

i'm SO glad we saw it.

I LOVED it.

So many parts of it just touched my heart. I cried because it was so real about relationships and the humorous things we women tell each other to comfort one another. And talk about a fabulous cast of women:

of course, i love my jen aniston best. I loved her story best too, though...

I could really relate with Scarlet Johansson's character from experience.

Hello lovies!

New week, fresh start.

I didn't even write a happy friday. I didn't have it in me. :(

Last week was exhausting and manic really- emotionally draining, happy/sad/no sleep/too much drink. I actually left work early friday from lunch and took a sick day. Again, I'm blessed to have a very caring boss.

but i have all intentions of having a very happy new week!!!! if nothing at all, me and my twinkie are 5 DAYS AWAY from turning my "scary age"- 25! yes, March 7th will be our 25th birthday!!!!

hmmm... not sure how i feel about it. I guess i always assumed by 25 i would know where i was going. If i was more honest- i'd tell you that i thought by 25 i would be married and with child at the end of my 25th year.

maybe that's why i'm so bla.

• I did enjoy lots of sleep this weekend.
• I did watch my published friend's band play at an artsy coffee shop (he sang Elton John for me).
• I did go out with a gf i hadn't hung out with in forever *pics to come. We may or may not have played "never have i ever" at the bar... can i just say, and i thought *i* was crazy!!! lol
• I did go on a movie date and saw a fun flick i loved! [more soon].
• I did talk to my babies in italy thru gmail video chat!!!! Look at little sophia. She's growing so fast, it's unfair I can not hold her or brush Marina's hair... Marina who is just like her auntie. ;) we were making faces at each other.

• I did have a good cry this weekend.
  
  i hope you lovies had a WONDERFUL weekend to start off this Monday just right, cos honestly, who loves Mondays?!? I don't! So i wore my new Victoria Secret heels!!! ahhh love them!
