ready for fun under the Cali sun with my girls!

i was chatting to twinkie this morning about last minute things we needed on our epic girls trip and we both couldn't believe it was already here! (we got the baseball planning in December)

i'm so excited to hug (and meet) faiza and ezgi finally (great gifts from blogging) and see my claire again, and meet her boyfriend --all in a matter of hours!

we'll be in SF/LA until the 7th.

they're boarding my flight now lovies, so please wish us safe travels xoxo

♥ date night trying out huge slices of pie at The Pizza Joint (i loved their chalkboard/art walls- my husband put our nicknames in a heart. he hearts me, le sigh)

♥ i'll be with these girls SOON! happiest birthdays to the pretty girl on the top right, our sweet Faiza. We can't wait to celebrate properly with you.

♥ i haven't stopped smiling knowing we're getting our little girl, our little Felix. Look at her nose! i'm in love, completely in love. 

♥ my husband treated me to a pedicure - i chose neon pink for Baby Girl! (though i can still see my toes, i don't look this in my floral dress anymore. how did i ever think i wasn't thin enough?!)

My nurse said she's 85% sure...

I was already crying before she told me what we were having. Seeing your baby grow from this at 8 weeks to where you can see the chambers of her little heart beating... it's all the evidence i need to know that there is a loving God.

I know sonogram photos are hard to make anything out, but here's our baby at 19 weeks:

The nurse said Baby Maxham is already photogenic - here's her "looking" at the camera. You can make out her eyes, little nose and mouth. Unreal right?

and this is the one where she said she was pretty sure it was a girl:

our baby is "mooning" the camera (as her auntie Kary said ha). Her little bum is on the right and those are her two legs (the nurse said she thought the lines where her lady bits).

We are first thrilled and so thankful to God that our baby is healthy. 

Truthfully, this mama is hoping that the 85 percent chance is accurate... i've had her name picked out for awhile. ♥

it's pretty amazing to think there's a life inside me that's half me, half Max. i keep thinking, what will our baby look like? 

look at my husband when he was a baby-- at those curls! adorable.

Tomorrow morning we get to find out whether Baby Maxham is a sweet baby boy or girl. My hats off to those who can wait until delivery time to find out (like my parents with all six of us) because this Mama is anxious!
