Defeat the Xmas Blues Swap received / sent

i was so excited to take part in Alyssa's fun swap. She matched me up with the adorable Haylee over at Rainbows in Wonderland. Le rules were sending each other a package with three things:

1. something for good luck in 2011
2. a tasty treat
3. something you love, one of your favorite things

a ton of fun right? {how i love swaps!}

here's the lovely package Haylee sent me that not only defeated my xmas blues, but my winter blues as well!

Haylee read i had just moved to a a new house so to bring me good luck in 2011, she sent me a vintage piece of floral art. For a sweet treat, she sent me kinder chocolate she got when she was in Australia (delicious!) and for something she loves, she sent me the above headband {i'm obsessed with floral lately}

Haylee, your package was amazing!!! i couldn't have asked for a better swap partner and i'm so glad to have met you. thank-you with all my heart xo

here's what i sent to Haylee:

i love swaps because more than anything, i believe it's such a fun way to meet another person.

( read haylee's versions here and here )

did you join in this swap? what did you get/send? swaps make me happy!

speaking of swaps... my girlfriend jessie's hosting a swap soon and i'm so excited about it! i won't spill the beans but it incorporates something i LOVE. you'll want to watch her space in the coming days... it's a good one, i promise!

I'm so excited about Jessie's swap--obviously I am in, regardless of what it's about!! :) First of all, Haylee's package to you was perfect--that floral print is so Micaela! Impressive. And the headband is precious--I really love it so much and I want one like it. Just like it. Maybe I'll stalk it! ha.

And your package was sweet as can be . . . and so thoughtful . . . but we expect those things from you. I wish I'd participated in this one!

Wait, wait! No kinder surprise in America? And I thought you had all the good chocolate (namely, peanut butter twix, which I get every time I cross the border). Looks like a fun trade. Hope you're having a great weekend.

What a fabulous swap! Love all of it, esp the Eiffel Tower. One of these days I'll have to hunt down those Milano biscuits you're always mentioning. Bet they're lovely, with coffee OR tea...
