my little sister's beautiful wedding photos.

i can't believe my baby sister is a married woman! it was pretty special to stand next to her as she promised forever and said i do to her high school sweetheart.

the whole day was magical. i can remember me and my twin sister marianne teasing them their sophomore year in high school that they were lovebirds when he was always at the house "just as friends." we knew matt had a big crush on our baby sister but maddie took awhile to realize that her best friend would one day become her husband. And so we got to see that love blossom under our parent's roof. Our families were always part of the other's but on July 30th they made it official in the same church Marianne got married in four years ago; the same church i got married in last November

i'm so excited to share a couple of their professional photographs of their wedding! their photographer, Brittany Andrajack with b.alyse photography, couldn't have done a better job of capturing such an occasion. She's so amazing, she already had a sneak peak of their wedding up on their blog -- of which i borrowed some to share with you.

reception details : the cake topper pays homage to matt's childhood love of Superman (funny story- my pappa painted the figurine's blonde hair black to match madeline's! ha). My brother-in-law is a talented film maker, hence the groom's cake.

i love the little details... like maddie's dress was already gorgeous but her friend (who works in costume design for a theater in Dallas) actually made the sweetheart neckline. You can also see my bridal shower gift in this photo-- the pretty hanger from this etsy shop.

when we took our bridesmaid photos, we took a couple of fun ones. For this one, Brittany told us to laugh... yes i look this silly when i laugh! look how natural Marianne got it down. ha -- this was too funny not to share.

Check out the bride's hot shoes! (you'll have to click on the photographer's blog to see the back of her heels which were studded) The bridesmaids got to wear any pair of heels they wanted to as long as they were black. I kinda love that me, marianne, and luisa {us sisters} chose to wear the same ruffly pair you can see on me above.

introducing mr. and mrs. matt hamilton!
it was such a beautiful ceremony. my pappa officiated and made us laugh and cry with his own account of watching their love grow over the years.
a fun shot of the bridal party after the reception
and the reception? tons of fun! matt (my brother-in-law) and his band even played for us and let me tell you, we were rocking out! the whole night was perfection, truly.
i'm so excited and happy for my baby seester as she starts out on one of life's greatest blessings... cheers to the Hamiltons!

thank-you for letting me share their special day. you can see a little more here on b. alyse's photography blog.

P.S.
also, be sure to check out the hilarious photobooth strips we took at the reception on my twinkie marianne's blog! since my darling husband couldn't take off of work, the wilson's let me take one with them. we had so much fun!
