happy things to end the week with.

♥ There is no better way to start the day then when your husband comes home with a big bag of Dunkin' Donuts.

♥ Happy Valentine's Day to me, Love me. An ode to Salinger tote by i miss you already to add to my collection.

♥ Speaking of V-Day, i didn't get a chance to make my usual "say it in film style" valentine's. I was grateful to have signed up for Gracie's hand-made valentine swap and made the above for her (my swap partner)-- one of her favorite romantic movies.

Tonight is my friend Manny's birthday and we're going to party like it's 1980! dressing up and everything. I can't wait to break out some bright eye shadow, hairspray, and shoulder pads. I think i have my big Donnie Whalberg pin somewhere... and yesterday while thrifting i bought a fanny pack to keep all my stuff when we're dancing. I can't wait-- it's going to be RAD!

♥ Tomorrow my friend Sarah is hosting another Pretty You and Me jewelry party and i'm already looking forward to making this mine (i love the skull!)

What can be better than a weekend surrounded by friends?

Happy Weekend Lovies! what happy things are you ending the week with?

+please leave a link below if you do post-- i'd love to share in your happiness xo

That donut makes my mouth water! :) It looks SO delicious!

I really hate that we live so far from each other :( I miss going to parties together! I wish I could go to Manny's! :( I can't wait to see your 80's outfit! Tease your bangs the way our brothers and sister would style ours growing up haha remember that one Halloween when we were kids or that one family portrait where we have the rooster bangs going on?!? Man, oh man! Good memories :) And I'm sad not being to just go to the jewelry party together :( She makes such beautiful things! Have a good time and call me when you get home :)

I love you twinkie girl! Here's what made me happy:

I lived the Eighties, it was an amazing time to be a teenager. Brat pack movies, Ferris Beuller, New Wave, heavy metal hair bands, thin leather ties. I came sooo close to buying a pastel Miami Vice blazer!

I am so upset that I never had Dunkin Donouts when I went to America, guess it means I have to go back! Have a fabulous weekend.

I ALWAYS wanted an 80s party. But none of my closets friends are real 80s fans. Sure they've got the whole bright colors, ripped shirt, side pony, working-out look down, but to me that's not totally 80s. Basically one person I personally know can really rock the 80s with me. I'm talking like Huey Lewis, Whitney Houston.. not just Cyndi Lauper haha. Hope you had fun tho!
