Wanting to Know you Wens.

This time next week i will be in Wichita Falls, TX. I can't wait to be back at my parent's -- the endless mother-daughter time and of course, getting to be inseparable from my twin sister again. We'll get to celebrate our 28th birthday together thanks to her husband (it was his gift for us).

I'm so close to my family that moving away was one of the hardest things i've done {and one of the bravest}. There's no better feeling than coming home.

where do you call home? and where do you live now?

Wichita Falls is home // right now me and my husband live in El Paso, TX.

Hope you have a great time! I used to call where I grew up "home" - in Maryland. I guess my husband took offense to it and said, "Aren't you at home with me?" He was right. My home is wherever he and our kids are. Right now, in North Carolina.

Moving away is so hard isn't it? I feel the same as you and my little sis has only just forgiven me for it (about 8 years later lol)

I like to think I have 4 homes - our house in Leeds and my parents house, my grandparents house amd Thomas's parents house in Norfolk.

I love that I can call them all home :) so really home, is where the people that I love are and where my heart is definitely.

Have a wonderful time over your birthday, I love that Marianne's husband bought you that as a present :)

I haven't lived in Georgia in 12 years, but I still think of it as home. I guess I also think of San Francisco as home now, too . . . funny, when I go on trips to Georgia and I'm talking to my family before hand, I'll say "When I get home ______," but then when I'm leaving Georgia to come back to SF, I say "I'm going back home tomorrow." ha. It's totally possible to have two homes!

That is just plain exciting. I can't wait to read all about your birthday bash with your twinkie. My home is with my Hub, but I'll always feel peaceful at my parents' house too.

Happy Birthday to you & your Twinkie! What a sweet gift to be able to spend time together. I know you will enjoy every minute of it!

Michigan is home to me. I grew up in Livonia which is a suburb 20 mins West of Detroit. I now live in Brighon which is 20 mins west of Livonia.

I used to live in Portland, OR & then Albuquerque, NM and struggled being so far from my family. My parents are still in Livonia and luckily I get to see them often. Unfortunaly, my brother (Marquette, MI) & sister live (Ithaca, NY) 8 hours away, each in a different direction.
