Winning!

every time i win a giveaway, i feel like i'm walking on sunshine {because usually i'm the girl who never wins anything}. I've been meaning to blog about two giveaways i've recently won and to thank the wonderful hosts!

first up was Beca's Mustache on a Stick Giveaway from Something's Hiding in Here to support Movember. I chose the barber.

can you believe i was lucky to win another giveaway? Megan had a springtime giveaway and my lucky number was chosen! i am now the proud owner of this pretty pink number by ASOS (perfect pop of colour, no?)

♥ i took a part-time job where i'm on my feet a lot and usually closing (so i get home after 10:30 which isn't bad but when my husband fills in for the morning show-- he's already asleep by the time i get home so i miss him completely). the other night i came home to this. How sweet is my husband?! i had told him i was thinking of getting one and not only does he surprise me with it, he also adds the jelly soak therapy. i am a lucky lucky girl.

♥ last night was one of those nights Max was asleep when i got home so instead i had a date with twinkie's Matt Damon. i had been wanting to see this movie ever since Marianne gushed about it and loved every moment of it. 

♥ i successfully made delicious zucchini bread! 

♥ i'm loving Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm! i'm wearing "rose" above... it's subtle color and instant moisturizer for your lips. i can't wait to try out other shades.

♥ my friday started out with a happy dance when i saw that i had won Erin's Bella & Bean giveaway!!! i can't wait to wear this beautiful vintage red button ring! isn't it adorable? thank-you erin & robin xoxo

well i had to have it and since sarah was having a valentine's day sale, i justified that i should treat myself to a gift! it's even more beautiful in person and i feel like i'm wearing a galaxy around my neck. i love it! look at sarah's cute packaging, that included a vintage photo of who i say are sisters.

i know that starting my new job has really drained me when it comes to blogging and most of all i feel terrible being away from your blogs because i truly am missing what's going on in your lives! i promise to catch up once everything settles down. So don't give up on me yet!

today was especially long. So imagine my absolute joy when i got an unexpected package from my blog girlfriend Jenni!

i had won her awesome $20 gift card to Whole Foods giveaway but this was an added surprise. Jenni asked everyone who entered to pledge something they wanted to better themselves on. The giftcard was the giveaway win and yet this girl from Detroit who's already stolen my heart with her love of sports and hilarious blog posts surprised me with a box full of healthy goodies!

and check out my water bottle! everything is PERFECT to take to my new job. When i was a kid i loved fruit roll-ups so i can't wait to try the all natural fruit strips. Jenni, i can't believe you did this for me. THANK-YOU!!! your card was darling.
