happy things to end the week with.

♥ Bubbles being home after spending two nights at the emergency vet and our regular vet. We knew something was wrong when she threw up breakfast and didn't want to eat anything for a day and a half. We're thankful she's back to normal and though it cost us a pretty penny (ouch!) she's worth it. She's our baby!

♥ movie dates : i can't even tell you how excited i was to see Crazy, Stupid, Love but it was even better since i got to see it with my twinkie while i was home. Such a great film! you'll laugh, cry, and swoon (is it crazy i was swooning over steve carrell rather than ryan gossling? He had me at Dan In Real Life) the only thing that might come close to a movie date with my twinkie is one with my husband who took me to see The Help (amazing--i can't stress how amazing the acting was and how i wish i had read this before going to see it on the big screen).

♥ also while i was home, i tried out shellac nails for the first time and i gotta say, i'm loving it! i don't think i'll ever get any other kind of manicure again.

♥ anyone else excited about the return of Football? last night was my Dallas Cowboys first preseason game and they won against Denver. Excited about it, we ordered pizza at nearly 10 p.m. last night. that's how we Maxhams roll.

♥ i can't stop listening to this song. my co-worker made me a mixed cd and opened it with Lykke Li. how have i not heard more of her? if you're a fan of the twilight saga and have seen the movies,  you've already heard her before {marianne, remember we liked this song? it went so well in that part of the film}. Mixed Tapes are my favourite.

Happy Friday Lovies!!! what happy things are you ending the week with?

+please leave a link below if you do a post-- i'd love to share in your happiness xo

Lykke Li has some gorgeous songs (although I can't see which one you linked to cause video is blocked at school). Bubbles looks so cute! Glad she's okay. :) And of course I can't wait for football!

BTW I have on fake french nails right now and I love them! My cousin Jennifer turned me onto them when I was home. :) Texting you a pic now!

Aw, poor Bubbles!!! (She's super cute, by the way!)

I really, really, really want to see The Help! I can't wait 'til it's released here :)

My sister had shellac nails for a wedding she was in recently and she adored them. I want them! I'm always so rough on my poor nail polish, it hardly lasts a day!

Great list! I'm looking forward to seeing that movie too. I love almost every actor in it, and they're all known for being very funny so how could it be bad, right?

Hope your puppy is feeling better!

I'm sooooo excited that football is back! After living in fear that we wouldn't have a season this year, I've been watching literally every preseason game I can find on TV. It's starting to become a problem haha
