that girl.

orientation was pie today lovies! we were just given the grand tour, their prestigious history (is it sad i knew most of it?) and a catalog of their fine spring collection.

all i could think is the damage i'm going to do with my wallet. i have always looked at their catalog and wished i could dress so sharply... so fitted and with smart pairing of ruffles and print. Someday, I'm going to be like this girl- carrying big plans in my hands (or in my heart) mixing the right colours and accessories... not afraid to wear my glasses cos i'll know how to wear a messy up-do. & i'll be able to afford cashmere or italian leather. yes, i'm going to be that girl.

thank-you for your well wishes & congrats! xo

the real training doesn't start til next week (4 weeks of training) so i was happy to get the weekend off because Max's parents invited us to go with them to Durham, NC to visit Max's sister and watch our nephew Caleb (the cutest 3 yr old!) play softball. I heart daytrips so i'm glad i don't have to miss it.

(dream wardrobe and all)

I'm so happy orientation went well for you!! And it's not sad at all that you know their history! It just goes to show what an awesome new hire they got, very knowledgeable about their brand. :)

GIRL, same with me!! There is definitely going to be a dent in my wallet because of my new retail job!! What can I say, the employee discount makes it so much easier to buy stuff guilt free. X)

Have fun in NC!!

You're killing me son! Do tell where you are working before I go nuts inside wondering. You don't want me to go crazy do you?

Just kidding, I can handle it (I think). I'm really happy that you like it and all is well and that you are going to purchase me things with your discount (that I'm assuming you are going to get). Oh, you're the greatest sister :) <3

So curious! When will you be revealing your new job?!?! Can you at least tell us WHAT you'll be doing? Either way it sounds so exciting, and far more glamorous than teaching high schoolers. :)
