Gratitude.

the pretty Faiza over at It's Gonna Be A Lovely Day never fails to make me smile. She is simply one of those genuine souls. She guest posted for our friend Meghan over at The Perfect Compilation Tape and challenged us to practice gratitude by making a list of 5 things that we are thankful for today.

1.) being an auntie and my auntie.

2.) unconditional love that includes puppy kisses & cuddles from my maverick.

3.) my excitement for this : my favorite book in the series.

4.) all the lovely letters/emails i got from across the world when i needed kindness the most. (i can not thank you enough xo)

5.) the best for last... my best, my darling.

What are you thankful for today? Practice Gratitude and link up on her post here.

(speaking of my #1, i'm taking my nieces walking and then playing with sidewalk chalk)

LOVE THIS POST! Hearing about other people's gratitude makes me so happy!

Thank you so much for playing along. Sometimes I feel as what I do is a little isolating and I am so happy and validated to see others making lists.

Eclipse was my fave in the series as well!

Keep up the smiles, and tomorrow's the day for ... Eclipse! Woot!

Without gratitude, we will not yet come to understand ourselves. Have gratitude and we will find the real person in us. It feels great whenever we feel grateful, thankful over anything ... big or small, significant or insignificant ... it doesn't matter.

I just stumbled onto your blog and just wanted to say 'Hi!'

I know this has nothing to do with the post itself, but your quote about your mission for you blog on the right column: LOVE. It's probably why I've found some amazing friends like you through the blog world, because I'm sharing more than I ever have to most people in person. ♥

Erin, it's so great that you do 3BT's all the time. We should always remember the little (and big) things that make life beautiful. i love that you make it a constant thing to do. I ALWAYS love reading your lists! we must skype soon.

Brown Girl, you can dogsit-- maverick would love your babies! :) and she's a girl though the bandana Max put on her makes her look like a boy ha and she has a boy name.

M, you know my life would be incomplete without you! love you Bestie.

Meghan, i've missed you while i've been away (and you've been away too- so happy for your trip!) Faiza is everything you said. Love you two!

Claire, it's so funny to see how even my 3 year old niece is like the women in my family... stubborn! ha

Belen, thanks seestur! i know it's been forever-- WE need to catch up. i did quit my job. ha it wasn't worth my misery (even though i miss the discount!!!) the thing on my side bar is a quote from the book series, "letters to my younger self."
