I love Vintage package exchange.

This week i thought i'd share one of the beautiful exchanges i got while  participating in Rice Babies

From the start i knew i would love this exchange.  I got paired up with Lesley of Words & Eggs (vintage design with a dash of handmade, over easy) in MA. Here's the beautiful things she sent me:

^i love the apples (this was one thing I had mentioned collecting)

Lesley, i adored your delightful package!!! thank-you so very much. Rice Babies said she didn't think she could have paired two more suitable girls- i happen to agree.

here's what I sent to Maine...

this was what she wrote to work with:  I am interested in all things ephemera: tickets, flashcards, postcards, postage stamps, packaging, playing cards, maps, books, signage, labels, yada yada yada...... Especially if they have cool designs (as you'll see from my main blog on Squarespace, I'm quite heavily focused on vintage deisgn).

^in every book i send, i always write a little note inside an envelope

and always, a little help from Etsy.com -

^Officer & Gentleman coasters from the delightful Fritzi Marie

^Vintage Ephemera Pack from lucky girl goods

^and each of my partners got a vintage postage set from Miniature Rhino

Read lesley's post about my package on her colorful blog here.

i truly enjoyed this exchange because it's just my sort of thing. Thank-you Lesley for being a wonderful swap mate!!!

Aww, thanks, Micaela!!! :) I'm so so glad you liked everything, and I'm still in awe of all the brilliant treasures you sent me. I have the album covers displayed in my living room :)

I love reading your posts about mail &/or packaged exchanges SO much. Your partner is a lucky girl to have been paired up with you! It's thanks to you that I did my first exchange, and now of course I think they are so much fun!

Re: your little linguistic joke, OMG. HAHAHAHA!

Please please please tell Max that what I happen to want for my birthday from him (heehee) is for you to use skymiles to come to SF for this amazing music festival weekend. I'd be the happiest girl around! There is seriously nothing in the world like San Francisco in late summer. It's the dreamiest.
