"I never fall apart, because I never fall together." — Andy Warhol

I was so excited to find this gem at a book shop in Baltimore as i was exploring the city.

"Just like the endless box of 'stuff' Warhol himself collected, there's a little bit of everything in here: more than twenty exact reproductions of invitations, letters from celebrities, photos, astrological charts, and various artifacts of his unconventional creative processes...

In true Warhol form, you'll also find some surprises--including a ring-shaped Factory stamp, a Campbell's Soup button, and your own complimentary pass to The Andy Warhol Museum."

goes well with Andy Warhol Nudes i purchased in a row of book shops in a small texas town.

What an exciting find! Warhol is such an important part of modern art history; it's always cool to get a piece of it, even if it's reproductions.

I think I just cried a little. WANT WANT WANT. I was lucky enough to be able to see his exhibit at the Arkansas Art Museum last year and I just about died.

Oooh I love the astrological chart. What's that all about? Is it his chart? And that last little print--I think everybody should like everybody--ahhhhhh.

What a great find! I like that it's a box of special things and I'm sure that was fun to go through when you opened it. I adore books and things like that. x

April, right after i left Texas, his exhibit was coming to Dallas-- so upset!!!

B, i've been wanting to see that film! i'm putting it on my must-see. Sienna Miller is in it right? she's a girl crush. Thanks for reminding me!

Danielle, i know right?!

Sarah, OMG I TOTALLY forgot you lived there! too bad, i had like 5 hours to myself! :( boo!!! it's not far from where we live (as you know, having lived here too! lol) so next time i will DEF. remember and we can meet up! :) it was so last minute.

Claire, you KNOW i totally thought of you with the astrology chart. He created it after he got shot-- as a way to understand why it happened. Something completely your interest ;) Claire there's a quote by Warhol that esp. reminds me of you too *giggles*
this one: "Fantasy love is much better than reality love. Never doing it is very exciting. The most exciting attractions are between two opposites that never meet." and this one, "I wonder if it's possible to have a love affair that lasts forever."

Meghan, that makes you even MORE awesome!

there's an audrey hepburn book like this that i always wanted, but never found myself with fifty bucks to spare, haha. these keepsake books are the neatest things, i love all the reproductions they find and add in. <3 <3 andy warhol isn't one of my FAVORITE artists, but i always like how simplistic it was. and that quote on how everyone should like one another is perfection. :]
