God, I agree with Marisa, total sigh. I'm the same way with the poem included with The Time Traveler's Wife. People who skip over those first bits are missing out.

I love Anna Ahkmatova! Both her husband and her son were incarcerated in Russia during Stalin, and her poems are so beautiful and haunted . . .

sometimes i collect quotes that i would use as prefaces to chapters in my imaginary book that i'm writing in my head.

I'm totally with you on the electronic book think....its soooo weird.

There is nothing i like more than a used book store, i love to think of who owned my book before it met me...
