"If you never do anything, you never become anyone."

Great weekend film: An Education.

Carey Mulligan just might be my new girl crush.

Carey Mulligan was amazing in this film and deserved the Oscar nomination. Dare I say it, maybe even the win. (The sets and fashion in this film were also great.)

One of my favorites as you know... I purchased it this weekend and can not wait to watch it again. It has so many memorable quotes and she is SO amazing. I was secretly wanting her to win... plus didn't you think Peter Sarsgaard was wonderful?

AUGH, wasn't that movie so glam and awesome and heartbreaking? And didn't it make you want to go read books? It really made me want to go read books.

I loved this film. Me and my friend were both weeping in the cinema when her Dad brings her tea and biscuits!

Glad you enjoyed it - I want to see it again soon!

Et Paris! Je l'adore!

We watched this over the weekend too. Great movie, and I agree, Carey Mulligan is pretty darn cute.

I watched it over the weekend and I can't stop thinking about it. I thought it was lovely. I second the comment about getting a little emotional when her father was outside her door and she was in her room crying. Sweet moment. Hope the new job is treating you well!

She really was great in that film :) I saw it a couple weekends ago. I liked it, but I couldn't believe the ending! I mean, what a jerk!

and what a wonderful quotation. Kinda goes along with one of my all time favorites:
"People do not decide to become extraordinary. They decide to accomplish extraordinary things."

I've been DYING to see this movie. But I got "The Young Victoria" on Saturday, so I'll wait to see that first. Have you seen that yet? I think you'd like it. :)
