wish list : porcelain.

i don't even like doll figurines, but i fancied him. i love the hands print best... can't you picture it by where you keep your keys? or near a chalkboard for notes to yourself? i'm loving it.

wish list fun can be found on dinosaur toes {come play}

speaking of my friend danielle... you know how she took that trip to the city she loves, San Francisco? look what she brought back for me:

awesome postcards that will go to good use & the prettiest fish charm that i wish i could get a better picture of but would never be able to do it justice. i love it! i'm a true Pisces and this will make me think of twinkie since we have matching fish sculpture pieces made by her co-worker and dearest friend laura gillis.

so play along at danielle's and remind her how lucky i am to know her. She came and dropped these off at my work with her husband and poor Chris waited like a good husband while me and Danielle chatted about thrifting and animals; our two loves.

Is it weird that porcelain freaks me out?? The texture is just weird. :/

I have one of those vintage kewpie dolls like the top image! I found it amoung my grandmother's old photos and papers. It is really beautiful in person! (except for the pen marks someone decided to add)

haha, poor chris nothing! he makes me go in sears and look at boring tools with him, and there are no cute puppies in that store!

i'm not a doll person, but sometimes i just think those old bisque dolls are so pretty, and i wouldn't mind having one just to sit on my mantle or something. i also love your other finds, but maybe it's because i'm such a fan of old porcelain!

also, i got lazy and ended up not cooking the eggplant. i went with a cheese pizza instead, but i ate fresh fruit too, so it wasn't all bad! yes, we should plan a dinner date because i've got lots of eggplant from the garden!

you're sweet ;)

Love that stack of postcards. But I have to convince that the little doll creeps me out a bit!

I love the little doll. and the ring! I wouldn't have even thought of a porcelain ring, but it is so pretty and reminds me of the victorian era.
