i found some goodies! pretty embroidery, glass milk and silver candlestick holder, framed art that reminded me of jane austen & my sisters, and of course mugs to add to my overflowing collection- i couldn't pass up finding one of Dallas (the city i love), the cute heart handle, and of ELVIS! plus two apple dishes, another thing i collect (anything with apples).
i also found vintage jewelry to hold aside for this swap.
Max was so cute... he said i should open up a vintage shop, as if it was a genius and (his) original idea. I had to kiss him!
have you found any vintage treasures lately?
i took a nearly two hour nap this afternoon - much needed sleep because i am WIDE AWAKE for this Rangers game!!! AMAZING!!! my Texas Rangers are killing the Yankees! sorry Yankee fans, it's our turn to shine and i'm loving it. LOVING IT.
a day of sports, thrifting, a cat nap, and a morning putting together care packages in the mail for my dear friends... a lovely day off indeed. x

P.S. I have to post about my thrifting finds sometime soon - maybe Thursday! xoxo
Okay so your day sounds pretty perfect, and I'm so glad you had a day off. Mine was a little more hectic, but I'm glad to be enjoying a glass of wine right now. I need to learn some thrifting tips from you; I get impatient and bothered by the mothball smell of thrift stores and just leave in a fluster. :) And yet, I see all these wonderful treasures that many of you find . . . maybe I need a lesson in patience.
Max is so sweet for going with you to your BIG antique store that I am sure you took a long time in. :)
Yay for your Rangers! I hope they play the Giants :)
