thank-you Alyssa of Project You!

The sweet Alyssa over at Project You held a series of amazing giveaways last month. When i saw this beautiful purse (made in my dolce vita) was up for grabs courtesy of Ande Monster Vintage -- i could not have hoped harder that my little name was drawn.

sometimes God listens to even selfish prayers because i couldn't believe it when i saw my name under the list of winners!

it was waiting in my mailbox for me yesterday and i couldn't be more smitten! thank-you Alyssa & thank-you Rachael xo

If you haven't heard of Project You, you really should get acquainted because it's all about us ladies. It's all about empowering women to feel more confident, believe in themselves and really see the beauty within.

i love it! and i'm excited about this project.

and not just because i really really really love my gorgeous purse (though i do!) but because i truly am all about connecting to wonderful ladies and feeling ... well beautiful. If i can help someone else feel that way? by all means, i support it.

i would send each of you one of these cards... just because you are! xo

Awww, Rachael's shop too--I know her! So glad you won. No one is more deserving. Very grateful for this glimmer of happiness on an otherwise mess of a day. :)

So glad someone else is digging Otis Redding right now! I found his Greatest Hits on emusic and I cannot stop listening :] "Sitting on a Dock of the Bay" is also swoon-worthy!

My heart ached after reading that post, but you guys have come a very long way and yours truly is a " and they lived happily ever after" ending. Love it. P.S. My wrist is somewhat better ; ). And I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE Dirty Dancing movie and soundtrack the best ever hands down!!!!!! These arms of mine
They are lonely
Lonely and feeling blue
