^when i got back from NYC, this sweet pocket notebook was waiting for me from the always thoughtful Carrie Marie (little notebooks are essentials in my purse to write to-do lists, quotes, etc) i kinda really love that she called twinkie Marzipan (marianne's nickname is Marz). so cute!

^and this postcard from Erin Pugh had me giggling! she had this postcard in a set she bought in london ages ago and thought of me sleeping in until 10 a.m. (or much later, truth be told!) and added, "oh to have those days back! ^my first pen pal (we're talking grade school friends!) Sanja is expecting her first baby and we just found out it's a girl! as soon as she told me, i went baby shopping (my favorite, esp. when things are pink and ruffly!) i couldn't resist the aunt onesie!

I love these bits of mail, both in and out, as always! I look forward to this post every week, and every week it makes me long to have more time in which I can do things like make pretty cards and send pretty packages. Of course, as they say, be careful what you wish for . . . I am afraid I will have lots of time on my hands when my funding gets cut this summer. :(
