Postal Service.

^when i got back from NYC, this sweet pocket notebook was waiting for me from the always thoughtful Carrie Marie (little notebooks are essentials in my purse to write to-do lists, quotes, etc) i kinda really love that she called twinkie Marzipan (marianne's nickname is Marz). so cute!

^the cutest thank-you card from erin

^i love these penguin postcards, esp this one from Lauren Nicole

^and this postcard from Erin Pugh had me giggling! she had this postcard in a set she bought in london ages ago and thought of me sleeping in until 10 a.m. (or much later, truth be told!) and added, "oh to have those days back! They are long gone for me... Enjoy them while you can!"  (illustration by Annie Lawson)

^my first pen pal (we're talking grade school friends!) Sanja is expecting her first baby and we just found out it's a girl! as soon as she told me, i went baby shopping (my favorite, esp. when things are pink and ruffly!) i couldn't resist the aunt onesie!

^reply to my tea loving gorgeous friend Sheba (the cards were a christmas gift from my husband's sister. Hand-made paper from the Himalayas from a managed forest in the hills of Nepal).

^reply to Megan using bits of a jcrew catalog

^birthday gift for Erin Pugh : funny bday card, vintage  inspired journal to help with one of her resolutions + a canadian maple leaf brooch i found while thrifting.

^thank you note to Iris (using these fabulous postcards i got in the etsy swap from Amanda) for the AMAZING birthday surprise she sent

happy mailings!!! x

I love these bits of mail, both in and out, as always! I look forward to this post every week, and every week it makes me long to have more time in which I can do things like make pretty cards and send pretty packages. Of course, as they say, be careful what you wish for . . . I am afraid I will have lots of time on my hands when my funding gets cut this summer. :(

I forgot I'd sent you that postcard! Love that series.

Thank you again for my lovely birthday presents! Wore the brooch on my jacket today, actually. When I finish my current journal of 3BTs, I'll begin in the new one you sent. It's a beautiful thing itself!

Ooh, and guess what came in the mail today? My custom address stamp from Etsy. Whee! So excited to use it! Better write you a big letter very soon, non? Oui!

xoxo

That little notebook is so cute. And I adore the little dedication in the front (I only do that with books maybe I should do that with notebooks too).

Baby clothes! Love it. Your mail is gorgeous as usual.
