Two Things i Love... Around my Home.

Doorways.

it's the first thing you'd see if you came over. i love my little bird wreath and my "Bless Our Home" sign. It was one of my Christmas gifts from my bestie, so it means that much more.

(Katy, recognized the bird wreath? *giggles. My girlfriends and i were hosting a joint garage sale and i bought about half of my friend Katy's things. We were roommates at one point & i have always loved her style)

here's our doorway leading into our Kitchen. I have a thing for keys and door knobs. They remind me of Alice and Wonderland.

what are two things you love in your casa? i'm such a curious girl when it comes to peeking into your decor tastes. Play along like i did on Kassi's blog BacWoods Fern & her fun Tuesday series.

I adore old door knobs, and I always try to think of how I could use them at home! Anthro had some a while back that were GORGEOUS!

kassi, i had so much fun!!! i can't wait to do it again ;) and seriously, i want to steal your antique end table. lol

Helga, thank you! (pleasure to meet you)

Danielle, i always see cute doorknobs at craft stores and i'm guessing they would be easy to install huh? i just haven't gotten around to trying it out.

Maddy, I for sure will check back :) can't wait to see your decor bits.

Anna, i've been here ALMOST a month and have lost interest in unpacking any more lol so your comment made me feel better. ;) your bookshelves are lovely!!! i noticed them in the background of your post today.

Jozen, YES!!! LOL me and Kassi have had conversations about said boobies... at first i was mortified and curious but of course no blog link. Kassi says she has guts and i am guessing she would have to huh? LOL

lauren, seriously, i would be nervous. :) haha that's why i was wondering. And i'm the most social person ever so it wouldn't make sense other than blog friends seem so awesome, that i would worry i wouldn't live up to it. is that silly? i think it's human to be nervous though. "blind date"- exactly! LOL seriously how fun though!!! with those two girls. I esp. loved that your husbands joined in the fun and were alike. What a bonus!

Erin- i can't wait for either!!! ahhhhhh Sawyer. Jack. Kate. SAWYER!

Krissa, as do you- the popcorn trash can? LOVE IT! ;)

Kriss Ann, the boobies, oh those boobies. haha funny right? i wish "they" would comment LOL

Diana Dye, Coffee is ALWAYS going... cookies, well if you're ever in the VA area, stop by and we can make some. I am no betty crocker... that is a work in progress :) lol thank you for your comment!

M, i LOVE the sign. I loved everything you got me for Christmas. I've been meaning to share my treasures on le blog. You know my method of hanging stuff up... hammer and see. lol these walls are not as tough as my old ones so it's been harder lol

Jenni, you made me smile :)

xoxo

I have a wall hanging very similar to your doorknob one.. only mine is yellow and has one hook... and I have a large brass keyring hanging from it, complete with skeleton keys! I love it! :)
And the quote you suggested is VERY me! At first I thought "How does she know I have a quote book?" but then I realized- OF COURSE you would know that about me ;)
Love you, darling!
