little rectangles of art.

thank you sooo very much again for your emails/comments on my last few posts. It means a lot. Nothing's ever the end of the world if you've got good health and your familly (my own and the one I'm marrying into) and your friends (this includes you lovies!) so I'm not going to dwell on any bridges we need to cross until we get there. Let's get back to regular posting, yes?

postcards are my favorite things to send. I'm a member of the Postcard Crossing Project ever since Belen first introduced it to me. It's an impressive project and i love the idea of postcards traveling the world.

recently i fell in love with two things shared by bloggers i follow, all centered on postcards.

Check out these save-the-dates using vintage postcards, via inspired to share. I love. Perfect for this bride-to-be.

Adrienne posted about postcard art on Mustard Seed Collective. Again, I love.

and of course, I've always been a fan of Fallon's postcard pillows. They are my go-to gifts for my special someone's.

ps. I got these stamps today at the post office & they are my favorite.

I, too, have a love of postcards, in fact, I collect them. Some days I wish I had the time to wander into a thrift store and just sort through each and everyone of the vintage postcards.

I just looked at the Postcard Crossing Project and may need to join. What a lovely idea!

Something about envelopes, stamps, letters, post cards and the post office, make me so happy. I like to see that I am not the only one.

I think the idea of vintage postcard save the dates is really neat and unique!

And about your last posts, I hope whatever is going on gets better, and I absolutely know that GOd doesn't give us more than we can handle. You'll be in my prayers!

XOXO

erin, postcrossing is pretty fabulous. You should def. join! :) i always ask people to confess a secret to me that i'd keep for life (these are the type of messages i send out) and i love these most. Or the ones who write like i'm old friend :) let me know what you think if you do!

ali, going to the post office to send something out is one of my favorite places to go. :)

Michely, you are too sweet! i'm off to check it out in a mo!

Danielle, thank you. I believe that with my whole heart. I'll fill you in on our weekend date ;)

Thank you, I will. And don't get me started on Carrie Bradshaw...I want to be her!
Is it bad to say that the movie is my favourite movie of all time. And that every morning at 8, I watch two episodes on tv while getting ready for school/work. I always quote sex and the city, I think the girls at work think I am nuts.

Wow, what a creative idea to use post cards as save-the-dates! Love it!

It would be so interesting o be a part of a post card swap. There are endless possibilities out there to send to one another :) and they mean so much more than just a blank piece of paper sometimes!
