prettiness.

on saturday i had a fun date with this girl. We had girl talk at my favorite cafe downtown, went into an indie music store i had always wondered about (i scored Okkervil River's album that has this song i LOVE), and of course it wouldn't have been complete without thrifting at our favorite antique shop.

a pretty vase (close-up of the detail above), i love pretty record covers to send things in, an apple bell danielle found for me that's a little bigger than the one i found on my last thrifting adventure, a vintage cup with the cutest heart handle, a brown glass vase that reminded me of religious candles, a gorgeous crochet necklace collar that buttons on the back, and an apple apron.

all this, for $11 and some change. Danielle got a crazy steal! It was neat how we knew what each other collected, liked.

it was the perfect way to spend a saturday afternoon.

oh, and remember these pretty earrings she made?

the first night we met she gave them to me as a gift, remembering i loved them. They're beautiful and go with everything. {Forgive me with little make-up & my fiance's old Hulk shirt}

thanks for the fun danielle!!!
