My father-in-law writes me and husband a daily email. He always ends it by reminding us to take care of each other and hug often (best advice ever). Max told his Papa we were nesting and my father-in-law's reply was, "Hope nesting is going well. No sticks, just soft stuff."
It made me giggle.
The story of our baby book and doll i actually purchased long before we were pregnant (when we were trying) -- and way before we even knew we would be having a girl. i like to believe Felix truly is an answer to a prayer.

That baby book looks very similar to my baby book. Dating back to the 70's.
Pokey the Puppy was always one of my favorites. Especially the Christmas one. Ironically my dog is very similar (in looks & behaviour) to Pokey.

Speaking of classics, pretty sure that is the exact baby book my mom has for me from all those years ago. I'll have to ask her if I can see it next time I'm visiting...
