treasures.

I found some treasures at an antique store that i fell in love with back in October when i visited.

found: salt & pepper shakers that made me giggle (sorry, i thought they were fabulous & maybe it's only me that has a silly mind), a grapes bauble to put on our dining room table, candlestick holder, beautiful art print, and a reminder for our little home.

progress: 2 things are already up in our hallway. The bought painting matched well with my Benazir, my father's brilliant work. i was going with a kitschy religious theme.

the sea of boxes are slowly disappearing.

I love groupings on walls. It took my husband 8 months, that's right 8 MONTHS, to hang two things on our walls (he thinks I'll do it wrong), so I'm sure it'll be another year before I have an antique plate grouping in the dining room and misc. picture grouping in the living room!

Cute decor thus far lady. Can't wait to see what else you come up with :)

I can see why the salt and pepper shakers made you giggle! They'd make me giggle too if I found them! I also really like the "Love One Another" -- it looks so vintage!

I think you are making way more progress on your new place then I am at mine! Tony's definition of organizing is a little different then mine...I have boxes of books and until we get bookshelves I'd like to leave them in the boxes. Tony has decided to take them out and pile them against the wall! It's driving me crazy! Just down the street are a few antique stores that I'm DYING to check out!
