happy things to end the week with.

carrying around my new floral vintage purse ( i love how the flowers look painted on and how much i can actually fit in it) that i got from shopping my girl fiancee's closet

puppy cuddles (we were skyping with my family on my birthday-- look at her looking at the screen-- love it) when we take naps, i love holding their paws.

Gracie's new shop additions with headbands named after her blogger friends. isn't the above one so pretty? i was over the moon when she named this design micaela after yours truly. love love love! it made my day. lovies, she's also having a 20% off sale so treat yourself by getting the details here. thanks gracienne!!! xo

birthday love from family and friends, including many of you! it was like christmas every time the mailman arrived. i can't wait to show off my birthday pressies <3

starting a new job this week, training has been early and overwhelming. copious amounts of coffee + evening reading have made me happy this week!

Wow, I seriously love that purse you got from Danielle. It's so beautiful! So glad you got to it before anyone else did! And for Pete's sake how cute is Stella?? I want to hop on a plane to El Paso right now and snuggle with her (and bring my angel baby Judebug with me so we can trade off snuggles).

I saw that headband--SO SWEET that Gracie named it Micaela and it's really pretty! I looooooove the intersection of two lovely girls. She's a doll (and so are you!).

And I'm so happy we're both back on twitter! Another way to communicate with each other constantly, right?? heehee.

talk this weekend maybe? I'll be home (on lockdown) all weekend. ugh.

yay, you got your granny on! isn't it fun to pretend you're 80?!

i like your mug, but alas, you know i just can't make myself drink coffee. i bet it would still be good for coca-cola though!

i hope you have a good weekend, pretty lady!

I second Danielle, that mug is perfect for coca-cola.
Your pup is adorable! I hold my dogs paws when we nap too, it's so comforting, and the only time that they will be still and calm enough for us to cuddle.

Micaela, this is such a lovely post. I'm grateful that the work part of today is over and looking forward to dinner and drinks (emphasis on the plural) with my school friends in a few minutes. Glad you're on twitter!

I have a new purse too! :)
What's the job?? Text me! I have a job (for tomorrow, anyway). I'm working concessions for my college's lacrosse team. I seem to just fall into concession work. I did it for like 3 years in high school by chance, and then one of the faculty members that went on my service trip to San Diego was actually our athletic center coordinator and.. yeah, he's hired me for concessions again because of all my vast experience. haha So yeah, at least I'll have something to fall back on in life.

Love that purse! I'm really loving all the floral vintage stuff that's out this spring, I hope it's a trend that sticks around for awhile. PB says he doesn't understand why I have such an intense desire to dress up like my grandmother's couch, but I do, and I love it.

And yay for being on twitter! Following you now :)

We have been totally samesies this week because these early morning trainings have been giving me a run for my money. I'm used to working retail and having a random schedule, so waking up at 6am and leaving at the same time every day is definitely a new experience! I hope you're loving the new job :) Definitely thinking about you!

Love that new vintage purse!
