i know we're into March {in 6 days, we turn the big 2-7!} but i never got to show you what she sent me back in January for Christmas (moving was so quick, we didn't get to even say bye when i left VA. sad day). Clearly, you can see how well my mistress knows me!
i love her jewelry and was so excited she gave me a piece of her heart. How gorgeous is my new Dino Toes necklace to add to my collection? // the apple hook for our new home in el paso is perfect! she remembered i collect anything with apples and i have a thing for hooks.
and if these didn't spoil me enough, Danielle remembered this Sharing Sundays feature where i fell in love with the map dog silhouettes from Scratch and Sniff! i jumped up and down when i saw this custom bichon frise silhouette (my maverick!) made out of a Texas map-- that included my hometown of Wichita Falls-- danielle ordered just for me!!! and even better in a vintage frame (she does have an obsession with frames so of course she knows how to pick them!) LOVE.

ALSO... she has the best taste -- and guess what? you can shop her closet! so many cute things... i might have even bought myself an early birthday gift or two. i can't help it... it's my wifely duty to help her stop hoarding right? *wink

When I looked at her "shop my closet" page I almost emailed you and said "Micaela--get these things!" Haha. :) Especially the yellow cardigan--so cute and I love yellow.
Now I reeeeeally want my own dino-toes piece . . . I'm supposedly on financial lockdown but am going to have to make an exception soon and get something from her shop, because I love what she makes, and your necklace is perfect!

claire, I SOOO wanted that yellow cardi and was so mad it was already snatched up by some other lucky bird. i did email her a WANT email to buy the granny tapestry purse and the knitted cardi. :) i wanted to get the newest mexican vintage shirt but alas, i need to put myself on a financial lockdown as well!
she's so talented isn't she? i can't believe i met her by searching on etsy for local shoppers when i moved to VA and then found her blog and the rest is "e-harmony" like history! lol

Aw, what a sweet, thoughtful friend! I strive to be a friend who remembers the little details like you collect apple things, love vintage jewelry, have a Bischon, hail from TX and have a leaning toward hooks. Amazing.
