i've got my green on!

and have been pinching those that aren't wearing green on st. pat's {just kidding}

this year will be the first i don't go out and celebrate (jess, steph, & marz - i miss the st. pat's festival and the iron horse pub back home! justin, you know what i mean too) but that won't stop me from blasting U2 at home while enjoying a green beverage (or two) because it's taco night at the Maxham casa!

and we love our taco night!!! {for the vegetarians like me, soy grounds are amazing. even husband eats it instead of ground beef}

May you have the luck of the irish! xo

 P.S.  huge cheers and congrats to my twinkie marianne -- St. Patrick's Day makes a year without beer for her. i'm not a huge beer drinker but as you can tell from what's on my dinner menu tonight... an occasional one is nice. crazy to think she's gone a year without it! i'm so proud of you twinks!!! love you xoxoxo

Me too! And so have all three of my boys. Some little leprechauns snuck into our house last night and scattered gold (chocolate) coins all around, as well as some chocolate balls. They left a teeny, tiny little note, all written in green. Much excitement ensued!

Happy St Patrick's Day, dear M!

I like beer! Didn't used to . . . but now I have grown to really appreciate it with certain things (or in certain moods). Which are your favorite soy grounds? I like Quorn's the best by far. But there's a Soy Taco "meat" that comes in this little pouch inside a thin cardboard thing . . . I'll include a link to a picture! Anyway, that's what I love the most for tacos/taco salads.

Happy Saint Patty's! I'm sorry to say but nothing compares to the grilled carne asada Mexican tacos sold by street vendors in Tijuana! I've been craving those for a while!!

I bet you had a great great time. I don't think St Pat's day is that big here (well maybe because I don't really do anything but I'm sure all the Irish living here do)

And I love Tacos! We have taco night here too and it's one of my fave dinners. It's soo good.

It took me all day to realize that it was St. Patrick's Day. Seriously. I read your comment and was like, "oh, st. patrick's day must be coming up" and I saw a bunch of other green things around and talked about St. Patrick's Day at lunch. When I saw them setting up beer gardens at school I wondered, "Why would they have that?" You know what it finally took? Seeing a line-up at an Irish pub at about 6pm. I felt kinda dumb when I realized.

But let's note the real celebration here: Happy Taco Night!!! One of my favourites!

Yes, you were missed at the Festival. :(
I celebrated St Patricks Day downtown, so yesterday didn't even feel like the real deal :) No green for me. Zac is the only one that pinched me though!! :)
