here are my two things today:
these blocks were one of my first etsy purchases. i saw them on Gosia's blue bell bazaar & had to have them.
this piece of art is dear to me. It's one of my Pappa's original works and he gave it to me as a housewarming gift when I moved to Virginia. It's an acrylic called "Tuscan Sun." This is hanging in my living room and i smile when i see it. I think my pappa is brilliant and i miss him so much.
indulge me and link your two things up over at BacWoods Fern.

And you really dear that you've the painting by your pappa. Nothing better than pieces in your home that connect you to somebody you love.
Happy Tuesday!
Okay, I'm seriously in love with those blocks! I remember having wooden letter blocks when I was young, but of course I didn't know they'd be so neat when I grew up, so who knows where they are now...probably for sale on etsy.
Pappa's got talent! Does he do that for a living?
xoxo
your pappa IS extremely brilliant!

You continue to be adorable. And those blocks are so awesome.
LOVE the top one :)
the blocks are too cute!
i love them!
Kassi & Danielle, i know right? about wishing we could have held on to our blocks from childhood. if we only knew... just like i wish my Momma would have kept pieces of her wardrobe. Not that they'd fit me... she was much skinnier when she was my age. lol
thank you for all your compliments on my pappa's artwork. I am quite proud of him ;) Danielle- he doesn't do it for a living (he's an outreach minister at our church in Texas after retiring from the military) but he keeps at it as his hobby. I wish i knew how to make prints of his work to give as gifts.
Erin, i hope you do play along! LOST... SOOOOO EXCITED!
