two of my favourites, an excerpt from one.

'But that mimosa grove--the haze of stars, the tingle, the flame, the honey-dew, and the ache remained with me, and that little girl with her seaside limbs and ardent tongue haunted me ever since--until at last, twenty-four years later, I broke her spell by incarnating her in another."

Another book I have on the longest-list-of-books-that-I-want-to-read! I heard this one is very salacious, my type of book! ;)

Very Salacious, vanessa. Get your hands on it!!! ;) You too Sarah & fhen- once you've settled with your move of course.

in college i wrote a paper on it because as you know it was on the banned books list. It's forever been one of my favorites.

M- have you ever seen the movie with Dominique Squain and Jeremy Irons? i thought they picked the perfect characters...

Ani, i've read it before but like Marisa, it's been awhile... perhaps I should pick it up soon.
