that is until Lauren opened up shop. You may remember Lauren (or as i call her, L. Nicole) from this Sharing Sunday feature. Look what i just picked up:
Watkins (since 1968) medicine bottle |
vintage white china rose napkin holders |
The napkin holders were a wedding present to her parents and i love the idea of using them in my wedding. I paid $11 dollars for these lovies- $11, and that includes shipping + handling.
Lauren just announced some exciting (and envious) news : she's moving to England for a couple of months to be an au pair! it really could not happen to a better person and i am so happy for her.
to help her out with this move across the pond, she opened up ohiolondon90. You can find great vintage pieces where the bidding starts out at just 99 cents. For her readers, she's offered to combine shipping.
you can't beat that.
up until Lauren leaves, she'll be adding lots of things (including old records -which i love using as art- and books) so be sure to visit her shop, now & in the upcoming weeks!

i LOVE that watkins medicine bottle!
i always look at empty jars and containers when i'm in antique stores, but never actually get them cause i'm sure what to do with them or where to display them...
i'm thinking now i should just get 'em and figure it out later...
indeed! i use them for bathroom things like q-tips or as a vase. oh and for spare buttons!
the uses are endless love :)
Wow!!!!! So many goodies... Humberto will kick me out with us having to pay certain bills and me wanting all the things on Laurens shop- lol... It's spend or get kicked out -lol- I choose spend for $100.00 dollars please ; ).
those napkin holders are BEAUTIFUL and definitely perfect for a wedding! also, you're so funny mentioning robbie williams (but it's not as funny as your wresting interest).
